A Look At The All-New Kia EV4

Kia is set to debut the all-new Kia EV4. Initially introduced as a concept vehicle, the fully electric sedan is expected to bring a unique aesthetic to the segment. Kia has stated that the EV4 will be a new type of EV sedan. After a year since its first EV Day event, Kia is bringing the EV4 to markets. As of late, the South Korean automaker has been on a roll with its EV lineup. With popular models like the EV6 and EV9, Kia is tightening its grip on the EV segment. This doesn’t mean ICE models are out of focus, however. Kia has hinted at a 2026 Sportage refresh and teased its first pickup truck, the all-new Tasman. For now, we’ll take a closer look at the 2024 Kia EV4 and see what consumers can expect. 

Kia EV4 Set To Debut Soon

Kia is set to debut the all-new Kia EV4 after introducing it a year ago at its EV Day event. The all-electric four-door sedan is expected to arrive with a unique aesthetic that sets it apart from others in the segment. Spy shots have been taken of the EV4 being tested. The electric sedan resembles the concept shown previously with a more concise design. Appearing to draw inspiration from the Kia Stinger, the Kia EV4 is based on Kia’s Opposites United theme. 

Looking at the Kia EV4, we see the electric sedan features unique lines that resemble the EV6. The sedan has slim and angular features with a low, wide stance. A camouflaged prototype hints at vertical headlights and a roof spoiler adds a sporty aesthetic. Some versions sport a hatchback design but this will likely be a variant. While the overall design mirrors the concept, the final production version may feature new elements.

The Kia EV4 is expected to arrive near the end of 2024. Prices have not been announced yet however, the electric sedan is expected to start at an MSRP of about $35,000 (plus destination fee). Inside the sedan, consumers can expect advanced technology and driver-assist features. The EV4 will likely feature Kia’s new infotainment system, ccNC. This system implements a dual 12.3-inch display that serves as the digital gauge cluster and infotainment display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be supported. So far the Kia EV4 looks to redefine the electric sedan segment with a new look and improved versatility. For now, we’ll be staying tuned for more information.
