The Kia EV9 features an innovative design with its sleek yet rugged exterior. Its pattern-lighting grille is complemented by LED projection headlights and taillights. Inside the EV9, consumers will find a spacious cabin with ample space–43 inches of second-row legroom– for both passengers and cargo. With dual 12-inch screens that serve as the gauge cluster and infotainment screen, owners will have access to a host of driver-assist features like a head-up display, a blind-spot monitor, and level 2 highway driving assist. 

In terms of performance, the Kia EV9 offers several powertrain options. The base model is called the Light trim and it features a single-rear mounted electric motor that delivers 215 horsepower. Those wanting higher capability can opt for the GT-Line trim which features a dual-motor setup that delivers 379 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This top-of-the-line trim features all-wheel-drive and boasts a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds. The Kia EV9 also features impressive off-road capabilities with 7.8 inches of ground clearance and 18.5 inches of water-fording depth. Owners can also tow up to 5,000 pounds.

For its range, the 2024 EV9 offers up to 304 miles with a 99.8 kWh battery pack. Thanks to its 800-volt architecture, owners will have access to DC fast charging, taking them from 10 to 80 percent charge in just 25 minutes. The three-row SUV also features an onboard power generator that offers 1,920 watts allowing owners to use their SUV as a power source. With its impressive capability and advanced features, the 2024 Kia EV9 proves to be an innovative model with few competitors. At a starting MSRP of $54,900 (plus destination fee), the Kia EV9 aims to solidify itself as a top EV in the three-row segment.
