2024 Kia Seltos Receives New Refresh

The 2024 Kia Seltos arrives with a new refresh that gives the subcompact SUV new styling inside and out. The Kia Seltos also receives a performance boost that increases its capability. As of late, Kia has been focused on improving its EV lineup. The South Korean automaker debuted the Kia EV9 and revealed a new electric concept called the Kia EV3. Despite the emphasis on EVs, Kia is not leaving its combustion engine lineup behind. 2024 Kia Seltos Sees New Updates

The 2024 Kia Seltos arrives with a brand-new refresh that equips the subcompact SUV with new exterior styling. The refreshed Seltos features a restyled front grille and updated lighting elements that elevate the SUV’s style. Kia has also given the Seltos new wheel designs and a rear light bar that connects the taillamps. Overall, the exterior update gives the Seltos a more modern look that helps it stand out. Kia has also provided the 2024 Seltos with a new X-Line trim that helps the subcompact SUV sport a more rugged appearance. 

Inside the 2024 Seltos, owners will find an updated interior cabin with new 10.25-inch displays that span the dashboard. These displays serve as the digital gauge system and infotainment system. They feature driver assist features and are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the cabin itself, there is ample room for both passengers and cargo, with about 17.4 cubic feet of storage capacity. Materials throughout the cabin are plastic, but higher trims feature a faux-leather upholstery.

As for performance, the 2024 Kia Seltos comes with two available four-cylinder engines: a 2L that delivers 146 horsepower and a turbocharged 1.6L that delivers 195 horsepower. While it’s not necessary to opt for the turbo 1.6L, it helps as Kia has increased its capability by 20 horsepower. Equipped with the 1.6L, the 2024 Seltos sees a 0-60 mph time of 6.9 seconds. It is also mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission compared to the 2L’s continuously variable transmission. The 1.6L plus all-wheel drive gives the Seltos a smooth ride with impressive handling. Starting at an MSRP of $24,390 (plus destination fee), the 2024 Kia Seltos proves to be an affordable SUV with a lot to offer.
